7Fabs Photo / Portfolio Permission Release
1. Purpose
This release covers 7Fabs's request to use photos, videos, and descriptions of a completed Customer project (the "Project Media") for marketing, portfolio, case-study, website, social media (Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and advertising purposes.
2. When this is requested
At job closeout, 7Fabs staff or the portal will ask the Customer whether the project is a portfolio candidate and, if so, capture the Customer's permission status before any Project Media is used publicly. Permission is never assumed from silence, and no Project Media is posted without a recorded "granted" status.
3. Grant of permission
> I grant 7Fabs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use > photos and/or video of my completed project ("Project Media") for > marketing, portfolio, case-study, website, and social media purposes, in > any format, until I revoke this permission in writing. > > Unless I separately check the boxes below, this permission is anonymous: > it does not include my name, my company's name, or any identifying > details. > > ☐ *Optional:* 7Fabs may credit my business by name alongside the Project > Media. > > ☐ *Optional:* 7Fabs may include my (or my representative's) likeness where > it appears in the Project Media. *(Each identifiable person must consent; > for a minor, a parent or legal guardian must consent.)*
4. What is excluded by default
Unless the Customer separately and explicitly agrees, Project Media use does not include: (a) the Customer's name, company name, or contact information; (b) the name, image, or likeness of any identifiable person; (c) confidential design details, dimensions, or drawings that would let a third party reproduce the part; (d) any project covered by an active Mutual NDA or otherwise flagged confidential.
5. Revocation
The Customer may revoke this permission at any time by written notice to 7Fabs. 7Fabs will remove the Project Media from future use and from owned/controlled channels (website, social posts still editable) within a reasonable time, but cannot guarantee removal from third-party shares, caches, or archives already made before revocation.
6. No compensation
Unless separately agreed in writing, no compensation is paid to the Customer for use of Project Media under this release.
7. Recordkeeping
The Customer's permission status (granted/declined/revoked), the options selected, and the date recorded are stored on the project record as a controlled evidence field, not a casual note, consistent with 7Fabs's silent QMS recordkeeping practices. This recorded, affirmative permission is the express written consent contemplated by section 540.08, Florida Statutes, for any use of a person's name or likeness.
