7Fabs Quote Terms & Conditions
1. Scope
These Quote Terms govern a written quote, estimate, or order issued by 7Fabs LLC for fabrication, 3D printing, CAD/design, or related services. A specific accepted quote controls the project's scope, price, specifications, lead time, payment schedule, delivery method, cancellation terms, and any express warranty. Where the quote is silent, these Quote Terms and the incorporated policies in Section 10 supply the default terms.
2. Acceptance and changes
A quote becomes an order only when you approve it in writing or through the customer portal and, when stated in the quote, pay the required deposit. We keep an immutable record of that acceptance, including the version of these Quote Terms presented. Acceptance is expressly limited to these Quote Terms. Different or additional terms in a purchase order, terms document, or other customer form do not become part of the order unless 7Fabs accepts them in a signed writing. Changes to files, specifications, quantity, material, finish, or scope after acceptance require a written revised quote or change order before the changed work proceeds.
3. Quote basis
Quotes are based on the information and files supplied when the quote is made. Quoted prices and lead times apply only as stated in the individual quote; lead times are good-faith estimates unless the quote states a guaranteed date. A quote request is not a commitment by 7Fabs to accept the work.
4. Files and delivery
Files are subject to the File Upload / Customer-Supplied File Terms. If we ship a completed item, notify us in writing at admin@7fabs.com of visible shipping damage within five (5) business days after delivery so that we can evaluate the issue and preserve carrier-claim options; this notice window helps preserve carrier claims and does not waive any right that cannot lawfully be waived.
5. Payment, title, and late amounts
Payment amounts and timing are as stated in the quote or invoice; unless stated otherwise, final payment is due before shipment or pickup release. Title to fabricated goods remains with 7Fabs until payment in full; risk of loss passes as stated in the Pickup/Shipping/Damage Policy. Amounts more than fifteen (15) days past due may bear a late charge of 1.5% per month (18% per year) or the highest rate permitted by law, whichever is lower. 7Fabs retains its lien rights under applicable law for unpaid labor and services on customer property.
6. Warranty; disclaimer
7Fabs warrants that delivered work will conform to the specifications and agreed tolerances stated in the accepted quote, as qualified by the Prototype Tolerance & Appearance Disclaimer. EXCEPT FOR THAT EXPRESS WARRANTY AND ANY WARRANTY EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE ACCEPTED QUOTE, 7FABS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONFIRMING THAT A MATERIAL, PROCESS, AND DESIGN ARE SUITABLE FOR THE CUSTOMER'S APPLICATION. 7FABS DOES NOT PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES; CERTIFICATION FOR REGULATED, SAFETY-CRITICAL, OR LOAD-BEARING APPLICATIONS MUST COME FROM THE CUSTOMER'S OWN LICENSED PROFESSIONAL.
7. Exclusive remedy
For work that fails to conform to the accepted quote's specifications and agreed tolerances, 7Fabs will, at its option, rework, remake, or refund the price of the affected portion of the order. Nonconformance must be reported in writing within thirty (30) days after delivery or pickup (or the shorter shipping-damage window in Section 4 for visible transit damage). THIS REMEDY IS EXPRESSLY AGREED TO BE THE CUSTOMER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR NONCONFORMING WORK.
8. Limitation of liability
THE FOLLOWING EXCLUSION IS AN INDEPENDENT PROVISION AND SURVIVES EVEN IF AN EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, AND 7FABS'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM AN ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE PAID FOR THAT ORDER. THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY GOODS SOLD FOR CONSUMER USE, FOR FRAUD OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR FOR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED, AND DOES NOT LIMIT THE CUSTOMER'S PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS.
9. Payment disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact admin@7fabs.com first with the applicable quote or invoice information so we can investigate. This does not limit any right that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Incorporated policies
The following controlled 7Fabs policies are incorporated by reference into every quote, each only in its published, effective version as of quote acceptance: the File Upload / Customer-Supplied File Terms; the Prototype Tolerance & Appearance Disclaimer; the Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy; the Pickup, Shipping & Damage Policy; and the Intellectual Property & Customer Design Ownership terms. A policy that has no published effective version when a quote is accepted carries no contractual weight for that quote, and this document's own terms govern the topic instead.
11. Governing law and venue
These Quote Terms are governed by Florida law. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
